Ort:
Online (via Zoom)

How can artificial intelligence support governments in democratizing knowledge and access to foster more fairness and inclusion?

Alexandra Wudel is an AI researcher, tech entrepreneur, and CEO of FemAI - one of Europe’s first brands for responsible AI. She was named AI Person of the Year 2024, featured among 40 under 40, and has contributed to ethical AI guidelines for major international institutions, including the EU, the United Nations, and the German Parliament.

Over lunchtime, Alexandra will outline why AI is not a neutral technology and why many perspectives are still being left out in today’s fast-moving AI landscape. She advocates for a human-centered approach - one that is fair, inclusive, and accessible to all.
This session invites you to explore how we can shape AI together: actively, creatively, and boldly. Used responsibly, AI can become a powerful tool to reduce inequality and enable broader access, participation, and justice in the digital age.

This staatskantine #72 with Alexandra Wudel will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 12:00 to 13:15 CET, online via Zoom.

The event is aimed at public servants working in Switzerland and will be held in English.
