While the conversation around the use of evidence and data has picked up pace in Switzerland, there is still much to learn from the experience of other countries that have been grappling with these issues for longer.

That is why we are delighted to welcome Andy Feldman, PhD, to staatslabor on Monday, November 20th, 2023 for a roundtable discussion on evidence-informed policymaking.

Andy previously served as a Special Advisor on the Evidence Team at the White House Office of Management and Budget in the Obama Administration. He earned his PhD in public policy from Harvard University.

The roundtable will start with a brief presentation by Andy which will be followed by an open discussion.

We are very much looking forward to learning from the U.S. conversation on this topic. While not everything might be directly applicable to the Swiss context, there’s clearly much to learn from the experiences of others.
